Seating

For ticket purchasing information, click here>>

There are two types of shows at the Cuthbert: Reserved Seated and All General Admission.

For All General Admission shows, the entire grassy area as well as the permanent seats in front of the stage will be first-come-first-seated. Rules on chair heights and blanket sizes still apply on the grass.

For Reserved Seated shows, two types of tickets will be sold: reserved tickets for the permanent seats with backs in front of the stage, and general admission tickets for the lawn.

In the GA/lawn area, blanket and grass seating are permitted on both lawn levels. Chairs are only allowed in the upper lawn portion, and out of respect for fellow concert-goers, lawn chairs must be low profile (legs no higher than 8” off of the ground and chair backs no higher than 32” off the ground). Additionally, blankets should be the size of a beach towel. Security reserves the right to redirect chair and blanket placement for the comfort and safety of patrons.

Chairs permitted on upper grass slope only.

Grass seating/Chair rules:

  • Chairs must be low profile, with legs no taller than 8” and chair backs no higher than 32” off the ground
  • Blankets are limited to beach towel size

For information on accessible seating, see accessibility >>

Accessibility

ADA parking and parking for the elderly is primarily available in the Science Factory parking lot on the north side of the venue (2300 Leo Harris Parkway). Overflow parking is also available on the grass just outside of the gates, accessible via Alton Baker Park. Ask parking attendants to direct you to these areas if you need closer access.

The Cuthbert Amphitheater and the McDonald Theatre adhere to the U.S. Department of Justice ADA 2010 revised requirements regarding the sale of accessible seating. Patrons requiring special seating accommodations must request them at the time of purchase.  All patrons including companions, caregivers and assistants must present a ticket for entry.

Tickets for unsold wheelchair and companion seating may be released for sale to individuals without disabilities when:
–              all non wheelchair and companion tickets have been sold;
–              all non wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated seating area have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released in the same designated area; or
–              all non wheelchair and companion tickets in a designated price category have been sold and the tickets for accessible seating are being released within the same designated price category.

The DOJ ADA requirements can be found here:  http://www.ada.gov/ticketing_2010.htm

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available in both general admission and reserved seated shows and areas. There are several wheelchair cutouts in the reserved area with three companion seats each. There are also wheelchair cutouts in the GA area, on the pathway between lawn levels as well.

Food & Drink

The Cuthbert Amphitheater has many food and drink options available for patrons. At any given show, about 5-6 food vendors are open for business on our main concourse. Due to the vendor’s busy summer schedules, food options may rotate from show to show.

As of 2021, patrons are no longer permitted to bring in their own food or drink, but there are a wide variety of vendor options currently operating during shows on the main concourse.
